Making The Womanizer Video

Hi guys!

By now we hope you've all checked out Britney's new video for "Womanizer," the first single off her upcoming album Circus. Team Britney hasn't been able to get the song out of our heads for weeks... and we don't want to!

We spoke with Britney and managed to get all the juicy details from the shoot... including the name of the gorgeous guy who plays the "Woma-womanizer." Brit says the lucky guy is none other than male model, Brandon Stoughton... only the best for our Brit.

Brit tells us the vid was directed by Joseph Kahn, the master behind the camera of Brit's hits "Toxic" and "Stronger," and was shot in Los Angeles over three days. We guess that's how long it takes to perfect the multiple looks Britney sports in the video. Doesn't she work hard?!

Britney's personas included a limo driver, a sultry satin-wearing seductress, and a wig-donning, tattoo-covered waitress. Brit's waitressing scene was filmed at Elevate Lounge in Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant, located in downtown Los Angeles. We'll have to make a visit!

Britney Breaks Records With 'Womanizer'

The Internet has been blowing up today with the news that Britney has broken records with her new single "Womanizer" by making the leap from number 96 to number 1 on the Billboard charts! From MTV.com here in the U.S, to BBC over in the U.K, the world is abuzz about Britney's incredible success. This is phenomenal news for Brit since it's her first Billboard chart topper since "Baby One More Time" way back in 1999! And not only that! "Womanizer" is also number 1 on iTunes right now in Canada, France, Spain and Sweden! Phew! Check out what the world is saying about Britney's sensational Billboard success: "Britney Spears' fine-tuned comeback is going according to plan. Britney Spears Gets Steamy, Sexy Schizophrenic

As you may or may not know, over 7 million Britney Spears fans tuned into 20/20 last Friday night to watch an exclusive first look of her new music video for her still #1 (on iTunes) first single, “Womanizer.” As long as I’m throwing out some numbers, here are some more:

As of last night (9:14 pm PST), Womanizer has received 1.3 million views on Britney’s official YouTube (despite the flagging censorship bullshit) page. Not far behind is MTV.com’s director’s cut (no flagging involved), with 1,235,380 views since its posting Friday night.

'Circus' Promo Packet Released

Fab news, Britney fans!

Jive Records have released the promo packet for Britney's upcoming album 'Circus' and we're excited to say, the list of upcoming publicity does include a tentatively scheduled early 2009 U.S. tour!

The promo also lists Brit's "Top 10 Sales Markets," with L.A. taking the top spot, "Index Markets," and "Awards Highlights." If all of her awards were included this thing could go on for days!

And if you didn't already know... Britney is currently the world record holder of the very impressive "Most Searched Person on the Internet." Team Britney intends to keep it that way.
